I know there was the big steampunk convention in SF like last weekend but one it was expensive and 2 I just started getting into steampunk. Is there anything else going on in the area?

Legion Fantastique will be in residence for the entire run of the fair, of course, but the unofficial steampunk day is Dec. 13.
We will be having the second annual Steam Explorer's Costume Contest on that Saturday.

Do drop by to visit anytime though -- you'll always be welcome at Number 7 Saville Row.

St. Clair Aeronauts is my group and we do lots of fun stuff in the Bay Area.  We will be at Dicken's for the Steampunk Weekend (Dec. 13th) and we are trying to put together a San Jose Craft Day/English Toffee day for Dec. 6th, now that the day is openish... We also want to go to the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit at the San Jose Tech Museum and have a Nice Formal English Tea in January to celebrate the new year.  Stay posted....

Toffee Day has been usurped by Dicken's Fair on the 13th (Yay!) and a Steampunk Tea Party on New Year's Eve.  Want to come to either one?

Everyone is Welcome!
