But then HP sauce is by royal appointment too...
... perhaps have a look at a bottle for the crest that signifies the royal appointment? it would be a rather nice addition to the plaque.
I might be a naturalised Aussie now but my bloodstream still needs HP
I was born in Hayes after all.

I SEE MUNSTER CARS!!!!
The 1960s custom car fad was fun, wasn't it? I might still have a Hot Wheels Red Baron around somewhere.

I believe he's going to use the decal to mask the brass for an etching.

Ah, that makes sense. I was wondering the same thing. CK Ah, 'twas a good guess, but no: I merely applied the decal to a highly polished brass sheet, to produce this: There's a few small scratches, and other bits where the ink hasn't taken properly, but I think it helps it look aged. The actual plaque mount was quickly fabricated from 2.5mm styrene sheet, and sprayed gloss balck. Oh, and I added this on the back:

Art Deco raygun? I'd say that's the early stirrings of Jazzpunk; now, an Art Nouveau raygun on the other hand... Dök, my natal anniversary is this month and I've PMed you my address. Mine too, and one of my personalities has been making this for one of the others as a surprize!

Man... You are lucky, I look out my widow and see snow. During summer I see a mostly empty lot, a decrepit old house, and a house that is simply ugly. This may be changing however, hopefully I get better scenery.

Good Herr Döktor!
I am sorry I have not responded as of late, been taking a break from things. The label looks fantastic (as usual)! Hows the new "project" coming along?

Herr Doktor, are you by any chance attending the April Whitby Goth Weekend and if you are would you be willing to bring your Thunderbuss along for those who would relish the chance to see your work in the flesh?
Oh, and how did you create your wonderful plaque, was it on a standard printer and some sort of special transparent paper?

The decal was most likely printed on a laser printer onto what is known as Decal paper. Available at most hobby shops and online as well

The decal paper I use is available from these fine people: http://www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk/products-Inkjet-water-slide-decal-paper_151.htmThey do it for inkjet and laser printers, and rubdown transfer paper as well. Smaggers- thank you, and I'll keep an eye out for those sinister ducks, especially if they're on the march...
