Well...

...apart from the letraset for the box lid that is.

The box now has instructions in a little velvet pouch, two spare 'power cartridges', a warranty tag on the weapon ( it reads "warranty void if fired") and a little label on the front of the box, that reads "right handed version".

And one other change to the gun - spot the difference...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Yes - the gun now faces the other way in the box, because I moved the gauge from left to right. Why did I go to all this effort you ask?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Because I found an old leather holster at an antique fair that fits the gun perfectly! Only thing - with the gauge to the left, the holster had to be worn to the left, and the grip is right handed.

So I changed things so it can be worn to the right.

I reckon that his project is well and truly done. I will still look for a way to put a label on the lid, and Letraset looks like it might work Robo.

Meanwhile - back in the lab...

Nicely done, maduncle, I'm envious of the holster- any idea what it might have originally held?

Oh, and an observation: I tend to find that a project is never completely finished...

Great work there MU! It looks factory =D

Love the holster, looks possibly like a old drill holster or some such.

Dök, I think the holster is from some sort of saddlery rig. I was told by the seller that is was for carrying food for a horse.

And yes - I 'think' I have finished it but the only way it will ever be truly finished is if I either:

A. Sell it.

or

B. Actually make it work!
