Thou shalt finally purchase a Dremel and discover the joys of Dremelling things!

Thou shalt not wave about the flexi-shaft at 33,000rpm saying "This is fun!"

von Corax, you have reminded me of one!
When buffing or grinding, thou shalt remember to keep your work below the centerline of the wheel, and keep a tight grip, lest you wish to see your masterpiece sail through the air and into a shop window.

Agreed. My bench grinder has snatched one too many small parts from my gloved hands only to then hide them somewhere in the backyard. Now... though shalt resist as far as possible Dremel accessories... ...until such time as thou canst afford them! (I want the drill press!)

Gloved hands? I thought bench grinders were the perfect manicure accessory. I use mine to keep my fingernails down albeit inadvertently. Should that be a "Thou Shalt Not"?
Currently at home it is a case of "though shalt not machine/drill/dremel/work bone in the house since the smell doth annoy one's missus!" I don't understand it personally but there you go.

Alas, the only duct tape I have on hand is the cheap plastic stuff! Besides, I use electrical tape for EVERYTHING. The tape was placed on the fingers only after losing the two nail tips from my pointer and middle fingers. You would be suprised at how difficult some simple tasks are without the tips of two fingernails!

ker-zap; thread necromancy Thou Shalt Not Use .045 dia. (36$ a lb.) stainless steel lock wire to tie up the exhaust system on thine 175$ beater car , without suffering the wrath of thine male parentingl unit ....I thought the old man was going to kill me. turned out the stuff was leftovers from my Gramp's re- building project. see My grand father built a J-3 cub out of the remains of three wrecks, while i was a lil' shaver,he finished it up in the fall of 1969,and passed on in Jan 1970, so i had a cool play house for a while, the compleate airframe less wings was parked next to my house for two summers when i was 7 and 8 years of age

Thou shalt not underestimate the strength of home brand superglue, as acetone is no longer included in nail polish remover that thou or thine neighbors have. (Seriously. I dropped a tube of the stuff outside my university on the road last year- it's still there)
Also. Thou shalt not lend thine car to a Smith.

Are we talking Mr. Smith - or a blacksmith or a silversmith? Blacksmith I totally understand! Thou shalt try to remember that thine left elbow is still recovering from a lengthy blacksmithing session and therefore canst do no lifting therof yay merrily!

Thou shalt use welding gloves to pick up just-welded steel; just because it has stopped glowing does not mean thou can use bare hands.
(currently have no fingerprints and not much feeling in the fingertips on my right hand from forgetting this rule)
