Finally, someone asks!
I was beginning to wonder if this has anything to do with General Khrizahn not having a hat. If ever there was dissension in the ranks,(not counting Cpt. Vole) here it is.

Mah, this is just a bit of squabbling between equals. Khrizhan is setting something up. Try to remember this week's action only takes about a minute, minute and a half tops, Mechanicsburg time.

I can see it now. Khrizhan finally kills someone, and the rest of the generals tell him it doesn't count.

"Goot" cheating, i.e. with style, panache, and victory counts. i get the impression, from all the way back to Zudok's beautiful leaping shot taking down the Beetleburg Clank at Clay Mechanical, that Jägers set much store by style points!

Yes, join us in being completely wrong, every time! I wouldn't say every time, just 99.99% of the time. After all, we must keep things scientifically accurate of course.

No matter how I would write the next installment, the Foglios always go off in a different direction, which is logical, internally consistent, and far funnier than anything I can come up with. I hate them and hope they keep the story going for another ten years.

And now, to speculate on "Dose guys"! ... I haven't a clue. But apparently not someone the Jagers consider a threat. Wasn't Agatha in the "Heterodyne Museum of Armor"? Nevermind, it was the "Mechanicsburg Museum of Armor and Military Science".

Like Punch and Judy? (last I remember seeing them they were strapped down in Gil's lab after being stitched back together)

Zoing has been overseeing Punch and Judy's final healing in Gil's hidden lab. They're still some days from ready to revive.
Tarvek knows about them coming, but thought they could slip through without all the fighting, Tarvek thinks these people are a major threat to the Empire, or the Other, or both. Jorgi is astonished these people are considered dangerous. It's very important that Klaus ordered less ruthless and less effective tactics than the Airship Marines wanted to use.
To me, that says a major intelligence threat. Not dangerous where Jorgi can see it, but Jorgi is a junior officer; at the top levels information is the biggest weapon there is. Lucrezia/ the Other wanted them dead. Klaus is under mind control and cannot refuse to obey, but he's tough enough to obey very inefficiently., and take advantage of every loophole in every order. I think Tarvek has subborned some or all of the Deep Thinkers, the Silent Librarians, or some other such group, with a small covering bet on rebel Geisters.

Them? They're the huge threat? Er... anybody know who are they?
I can see why they're a threat though. "Wasp Eaters" don't sound like something the Other would care for.

Though I'm sure there's much more to them than one would initially imagine. When you think about it, wasps enter through your mouth to take you over. Therefore anyone could be a wasp eater.(sparks generally being the exception to the rule) I wonder just how tenacious wasps are in getting into your mouth to begin with...? Would a psych ward muzzle keep them out? Industrial strength beekeeper suit perhaps? Is that pretty much what these "bug-skull hat" personnel are wearing?

You are presuming the mouth is the only orifice the wasps use.

I just noticed the insignia a couple of them are wearing. It looks like the standard Wulfenbach insignia, but with insects' wings instead of birds'.

The Wasp Eaters are the eight legged weasels we've already met. Being able to spot stealth revenants was just a bonus. I didn't see this coming, but it makes sense; these are the world's best against Slavers and Revenants, and it looks like they've got all the weasel handlers with them. Jägers should be very good at forcible entry rescues, so they should have their Wasp Eaters immediately.
This is a grave threat to Lu's plans.
Mr. Crowe, that's the Wuffenbach Vespiary (concerning or dealing with Wasps) Troops badge. Wasps and Revenants are a big enough threat to have their own specialist troops assigned.

If I were writing this comic, this would be the cliffhanger after which the next three weeks would be the next part of the Ferretina saga.
