No, that's Zoing (?). He's a construct who makes tea for Gil.

Specifically he was Gill's FIRST construct/abomination against Nature made after his spark emerged. He is VERY attached to Gil.
I hope Tarvak has a crowbar.

Ah, yes, that's right. I'd forgotten about him! --Still looks like Orzo though, ha ha. Perhaps Gil's a closet He-Man fan.

I suspect P & J are about to be re-introduced.
Gil's plane is the obvious escape craft, its the only such craft in this world. Wait till Bang sees it!
If they make the wasp blocker, it would make an excellent delivery system for cloud seeding the blocker, provided you can guarantee clouds, but you would have to be some kind of Storm King with a weather manipulation device capable of delivering storm clouds on demand to do that!
The Knights army of revenants would melt away
Oh and P and J would have known the infant Klaus Barry, and he them. It will be interesting when they meet Tarvek for the first time. Cue the Foglios cutting away to Higgs and Zeetha, or the Baron and Annevka, or Agatha and the defenders or just about anything else.

So I was a bit behind, and the look on Bang's face here just made my day. Besides that... I suspect P & J are about to be re-introduced.

Yep! I think we're due for some backstory. The terrible thing is, I'm pretty sure you're also right about the cut...

Quick! Someone grab the Degenerate Clone and fling him bodily from the castle! Into the conveniently not-hovering airship.

So, at first I was all like "Curses! Foiled Again" is much more cliched than I expect from the Foglios, then I was all "Aha! Not cliched; genre savvy!" and I LOL'd.

Yeah, this has to be the first time Othar is pushed out of an airship, and didn't cry 'Foul!'...

Ah, but this time he wasn't chucked out without anything: he's in a machine that may even fly. He didn't cry foul when the Rescue Clank dove out the window with him, either.

I read GG aloud to my seven-year-old son, who loves it to bits. And the other day he suddenly announced that there should be a Talk Like A Jaeger Day, a la Talk Like A Pirate Day. So I told him I'd mention it to you all here. And now I have.

Have to say I rather like the pose Vole has in the last panel.
Plus if it were ANY other situation a Goomba Stomp from On High via Jager would rank about a twelve on the awesome-meter.

Not for the victim. Oh well new GG tomorrow By my count when the Foglio's come to Cambridge in in August, we should be close to the end of the current volume (approx another 60 pages). I dont think the current volume is going to wrap the storyline up.

I should say not. No, this current subarc might, and just might mind you, finish before the end of this volume. Besides as any good story teller knows you always leave the audience wanting more; and the Foglio's are with out doubt Exceptional Story tellers.
