This phase at least, with Agatha's position and identity established, the original story arc is satisfied, but there would still be a search for Bill and Barry, and we still have the time windows to resolve. I bet we get a third window before the 10th anniversary, setting that up. Remember the framing device for this is the Boring Guys story, so this is only one story, like the Heterodyne stories of old, there is room for other stories.
That allows them to issue the RPG, catch up on the novelisations (which are spoilery)kick back and then start on a whole new 10 year story arc (hopefully) clearing out some characters, allowing for the introduction of new characters, and plotting to render us all mad with the wait. it will be Sherlock Holmes all over again.

Which Sherlock is this? I'm going to go with the original. Read up on Arthur Conan Doyle a little. (BTW, this is one of the key points that lead a person to believe that Doyle was only the literary agent for Dr. Watson - it is very difficult to believe that someone so taken in by the snake-oil salesmen of Sprirtualism could have written about the ultra-logical Holmes.)

One tends to forget Doyle was a product of his times, besides the Folio's are quite clearly believers in life after death, but clearly of the "it's alive!" catergory, where your gatekeeper is far more likely to be called Igor than Peter.

Well Maxim did say zapping didn't always work. Then again the Baron seemed pretty confident that the aristo dupree stabbed would be around to be irritated about being revived and thus be out of any succession/titles she was in line for.

This is a man who successfully resurrected a heap of mostly-charcoaled woman. A little stab wound? Psh!

He decanted her. Meaning he probably whipped up a cloned body and would have tried using mad science to get a copy of what he could from the brain if it were intact. Debateable on how independant the resulting person would have been. Mind you this is also a wholly diffrent body rather than juicing a corpse back to life.

Wondered where 'the decanted girl' got off to, but for that matter, we still have her construct 'guardians' unaccounted for... btw- was going through books that had lost copyright protection the other day, and found a book on a Wolfenbach, and another on Psmith. coincidence? I don't think so!...

Punch and Judy are safely tucked away in Gil's lab, where they cannot give exposition as to events leading up to and surrounding Agatha's birth, the whereabouts of Bill and Barry, and the real Lucrezia until after this story has nearly concluded. Note Gil fixed Punches voice, exposition is so much easier when spoken rather than given as an interpretative dance.
My thought, Bill got sent back in time to become Rembrandt van Rjinn and build the Muses. No picture of Van Rjinn. This would fit with my theories regarding Tarvek, and why only Tarvek and Agatha have ever been successful in duplicating RvR's work, familial sparks having similar strengths and capacities. Note Tarvek was able to initiate a Dingbot shutdown, and RvR's notes were of use to improve the Dingbots leading to Queenie.

Ah but Punch having a voice will cause much distrust and pages on pages of problems till Gil can reassure Agetha that these two are indeed real and not-tampered-with-too-much.

All the characters who could provide exposition have been sidelined, Punch and Judy, the Baron, even The Castle, Bill and Barry, all three versions of Lucrezia, Otilia etc.
The Foglios are definitely going to have a major last act 'reveal', certainly of who is actually who.

On the plus side 'our' generation of sparks have a very sink or swim situation on thier hands so they'll either have to come into their own or. Well... Maybe we'll see 'em as a construct or something.
As for Monday. I expect Tomorrow to have Gill going over much the same set of reactions. 'But mine doesn't have a whole town of minions at her disposal!'

Exposition, you say? Witness the Return of the Boring Guy (not yet on his way to becoming Professor Foglio).

Hmm the interesting point is that the Boring Guy isn't just after the Wulfenbach Storybook, but that he was privy to the Sturmvarous personal papers and Library, seeking out scurrilous stories. This means he can give exposition about both Gil and Tarvek! If Tarvek was adopted/not a descendant of the Storm King he might know!
Likely, he knows Tarvek is adopted and not a Storm King Descendant, but he knows a book proving Gil is "your highness" Tarvek probably won't know yet who he is, but one of lifes certainties will be kicked out.

Money on him having been ordered around y either pinkie or Aveka(?) to keep THEM alive. Probbly under orders to not reveal that he's been compromised.
Probably also has standing orders to treat him as if he's compromised anyway.

It would appear so, and she appears to have a history of sexually harassing Tarvek, to the extent he appears to have faked his death to escape her. An interesting pairing. Was Agatha on the rebound?
