The Professor prefers to be behind the lens of his camera, so pictures of him are rare. I managed to sneak this picture when my master wasn't looking. It's not very clear, but it's the best any of us has managed to take of him so far. Yours, Anon.

Well, since my workplace was having a costume contest with cash prizes, I decided to go decked-out in full Federal Airship Corps regalia: By Hikaro_TakayamaI didn't win any prizes, but I got a lot of compliments.... The jacket is actually some Goth jacket I bought at Hot Topic and steampunked (when I saw it hanging up as I was passing by I thought, "you know, with a few slight modifications, that jacket would be the perfect 19th century steampunk Zeppling crew outfit"). The rest of the outfit, for the most part, was cobbled together from some of my old Navy uniforms: The pants were my winter semi-dress uniform pants and the scarf is standard Navy-issue (it still has my initials stenciled on it from boot camp). The boots are some cowboy boots I picked up about 2 years ago, the hat is a reproduction civil war kepi I bought at one of the more up-scale souvenier shops at Gettysburg (living an hour away from one of the biggest Civil War battlefields has its advantages), and the goggles are some WWII German motorcycle goggles I picked up at a local Army Surplus store.... ....And once again, it's painfully obvious why I can't seem to get a date.

I just posted these elsewhere but why not post again. These are pictures from some of this years Halloween parties. and The robe is actually something I had had for years. I wear it around from time to time and it is nice during the winter. It is hard to tell from the pictures but I am wearing a wide black leather belt I made as well.

A disclaimer: These photos are not my property - they were taken at Nekocon X by the esteemed proprietor of http://www.radialmonster.com . For some reason, Flickr is not allowing me to link directly to his photo set, which definitely deserves a view, for some lovely EGL-costuming ideas, at the very least. (1500 photos, so be warned...) Greetings all! I have been long absent from this most beloved of internet communities for some time due to circumstances beyond my control, and I have at last returned to lurk and enjoy everyone's splendid photographs, which I shall commence catching up on immediately (though I daresay, the few I have had the pleasure to view already have been marvelous - good show, all!), but first I would like to make a contribution. You see, I had a few housecalls to make yesterday afternoon, and felt it a perfect opportunity to "break in" my new waistcoat. Sadly, these pictures in their odious quality do it a great injustice, but you can see it a bit better here. It's black with a dark blue pinstripe and narrow, notched lapels. My inner dandy swoons at thought of wearing it again! The watch chain is my own creation, made from lovely shiney bits acquired at the local "Hobby Lobby". Here is a closer view of it, along with another vest chain made with the "fob drop and chain" from Cowboy Emporium. I used a barrel clasp to attach the t-bar (originally half of a fancy toggle clasp - you can see the circle half attached to the fob drop in the picture above) so that I could interchange it with a different sort of clasp when wearing the chain with my watch in the fifth pocket of a pair of the inestimable Mr. Strauss' denim trousers. I encourage everyone desirous of a new vest chain to follow my example and visit the local craft supply - I believe you will be most gratified with the results. EDIT: Drat, I nearly forgot to include this picture of my semi-steampunk halloween costume (I feel that they capture the spirit of the thing, at least ). Me, as a different Doctor entirely: And the lovely Mrs. Archer looking sufficiently frightening in the role of my savage yet noble companion, Leela: There, I believe that I have compensated, at least in part, for my long absense.

I've finally taken a few pictures of my outfit in it's current state. They aren't the worlds best photos, but the idea comes across! The full ensemble: It is a little hard to see, but at my waist I have a small leather pouch as well as a small lantern. The coat is actually a full size trench coat, but keeping it tied back allows all the details of the outfit to be seen A rather blurry upper body shot without the coat: Close up of my 'Monocle': Also, I added a design on the sides of the goggles that can't be seen here, but its three gears(lockwashers) in a triangle formation. My hat also has a wire band that I made, and where the bow of a standard band would be I have a larger gear triangle formation. I'll try to get close ups of individual pieces done tomorrow and posted to the anatomical forum.

Well of course the Captain would tell you "Father took me to a rather well appointed tailors and paid for me to be outfitted in the manner of gentleman" He would say this no doubt with a gleam in his eye as the truth is that he happens to know someone who works for Moss Bros. Whom acquired it on his behalf. If you tell me where you're living Mr. Kew I should be able to point you in the direction of a local retailer of such items. Always happy to help a man to acquire a chaps wardrobe Well, I can generally be found lurking in the vicinity of Oxford. I have a few suspicions about where I might look, but further suggestions are appreciated.

Shoes: MiuMiu P.S.: The stilettos are actually quite nice per se without spats. Here's a self-portrait of me and my evil smoking Siamese twin sister that gives you a clearer idea. Maybe not the most SFW picture as you can see Thigh Flesh of Doom. MiuMiu shoes might not be the cheapest ones out there, but they're amazingly well crafted and last for many, many years.

My latest pictures showing off my new goggles. The helmet is an old miners helmet. I also had to add the Doctor Who scarf with the colors from a different season than those posted above.
