I've posted this I think in a thread on body-mod, but I love the idea of getting to see everyone! Beautiful and brilliant women, dashing and courageous men! Huzzah! himself, at the coffee shop I manage. Not ST really, but I am putting things together. Oh, and Miss Honeythorn, the eyeliner is fantastic! I've seen others incorporate that into Steampunk to great effect. Keep it, you're Lovely!

Gunaydin, arkadashlarim! I suppose that this humble servant of the Sultan should place his kineo-image here, as well... Dressed in the simple clothes of my dervish order, while on leave from the Air Navy of Sultan Murad V, after a long campaign against Air-Kraken in the Balkans and the Tsarist-backed air-pirates of the Crimea

Here's some shots of me and my wife. They're not steampunk (yet), but they are Victorian. Here is an old photo of myself and my wife before we even started dating. She was 15 i was 17. 9 years ago.... We were testing for her brothers student film, I was being instructed in the Waltz. Here we are a few months later, now 16 and 18, in the middle of filming her brothers movie. I'm Dr Jekyll, and she's my fiance, Victoria Carew. Here we are in our Western duds a few years later. This is me as Jack the Ripper 2 years ago. At least the bird looks scared of me... later that evening..... I've got a few more in my Flickr if anyone is interested http://www.flickr.com/photos/13521704@N07/

I signed up on the board a while back but hadn't bothered to really get involved until recently. Might as well out myself quick like a steam-powered bunny. One dressed for a night out: And one of me engaged in the far-too-rare pursuit of painting:

Well, as I spent all my evening staring at all of you, it would be no more than proper to show myself as well... To prevent any confusion, I'm the one with the glasses.... (My apologies about the sorry state of my hair to those as care about such things, the picture was taken on a rather scorching and humid summer day, so my hair was rather humid and lacklustre....)And seeing this is a Steampunk forum after all, my avatar's bigger brother: Bye, Modhail

I went sky-piratey for halloween: I would've worn one of my monogoggles, but the one that I brought to wear just happened to break while I was trying to get it on. Sadness. I literally made the broach I'm wearing minutes before going out because I was bored. showin' off the boots I <3 my cape

Here's some Halloween costume photos. Of course, no one got photos of me at the actual party, so I had to do these myself. Oh well. Cold weather, easy to tolerate version of costume with shawl: With the headdress: Goddess of Science and Industry ready to kick some patootie!

Cold weather, easy to tolerate version of costume with shawl: My goodness, this one is quite stunning, M'Lady. No need for the frills or hoopla the long coat and goggles are perfect, and a shaved head on a lady who can pull it off is quite attractive

Ah Ha!!! One of said hosts of 'The Absinthe Salon' is now very much here and has sprung you showcasing yourself in my lenses Sir!!! So then, I challenge you to a dual...whichever of us can drink the most Absinthe and still walk a straight line whilst reciting the first paragraph of Oscar Wilde's 'The picture of Dorian Gray' whilst wearing said lenses wins! ...The studio was filled with the rich odor of roses, and when the light summer wind stirred amidst the trees of the garden there came through the open door the heavy scent of the lilac, or the more delicate perfume of the pink-flowering thorn...

Maxine what is your wonderful headgear made from?
Feathers?
Pom Poms from the highsghoul?
You look great!
Ha ha. Thanks, it's plastic rafia. I crocheted a mesh base and attached the long pieces to that, then fitted it all on a headband.

Thanks all, again, for your help and inspiration. I was finally able to give some life to a character that has been in my head for many years. The result: Jack Sloan Tinkerer, Purveyor, Adventurer: Lots more where that came from too: http://www.flickr.com/photos/octopushat/sets/72157602803654371/(edit to fix pictures)

What I wore to a recent session of Castle Falkenstein (a roleplaying game, it's not LARP, but we decided to surprise our host by all coming dressed as our characters....): And here's a full body shot (sans feet), with a different shirt under my waistcoat. Unfortunately I am lacking both the cravat and elbow-length black rubber gloves here, but to compensate I am wearing a coat.... I rather startled a cyclist that was on his way to the disco whilst I drove to pick up my friends. Apparently he was unaccustomed to seeing an automobilist wearing goggles on his forehead and gripping the wheel with black rubber gloves. Such delicate nerves these modern youths have.... Bye, Modhail

hehe Yeah the goggles tend to leave an imprint on my forehead when i have them sitting up. Photos to come! edit: And here they are! Photoshopped backgrounds of course. this is me on my zeppelin, after throwing out a passenger for having no ticket... (the ladies are watching him through the window.) and here is one of me in my Sky Pirate ground hideout. An abandoned mill of sorts.edit: I've played with it in photoshop to give a cool sepia tone and scrunched up age look.. I took a while because I don't own a camera, so I had to go to mum's and get her to take them.. I honestly don't know why it looks like I am about to cry... I think the goggles push my brow down too much :x
