Here are some pictures from a fashion shoot I was in a couple of weeks ago. Gentleman's waistcoat in antique silk by Eline Martinsen, Corsetiere. If you are ever in Canberra or nearby, I commend her to you. [lovely, lovely pictures] Damnit, why isn't Canberra a little closer? Why don't I have my licence? M. Freestate, can you come and teach my young man about posture?

Taking out zombies without spilling a drop. Now that's tallent! DB Without spilling a drop? Although it's not very realistic at all, all that pink stuff poured on the beautiful Horse Demon (in her human form) there is supposed to BE blood, as well as all the pink stuff on the floor. The special effects people were just kind of slacking on realism. Fun time though LOL, I meant this photo. DB

Very nice photo shoot. Definitely not your customary off-the-rack waistcoat, that, but it does suit you. No indeed. The design was mine: front and back lacing as you see, steel boned along the holes, two pockets at the midriff and nothing "Doctor Frank-N-Furter" about it. Eline brought the vision to life however, and her tailoring surpasses any of the Oriental riffraff or even, I would argue, that of Gallery Serpentine. Theeere you are Stefan! Swing by the burning man thread in geographical and see what's become of the mess you started! DB

Waiting impatiently before I can submit new photos. The white spats have arrived, and the white formal vest/waistcoat should come any day, and the parade white Sam Brown belt for the officer's uniform should come Friday.

Nice look. I like the vest and hat Are the spots on the globe indicating the locations of stars? Does it spin? Oh, you mean without spilling a drop of beer. Silly me I was showing the pics to a friend that was over tonight. He was commenting that in most of the pictures of the zombie battles either the zombie had a beer in their hand, the living fighter had one, or both.

A couple of very silly pictures of me working the gate at a regional Burning Man event. This is the outfit I use for fixing all kinds of imaginary things. Words cannot express my love for that chinese umbrella. I meant to wear a white undershirt with that costume but I didn't pack any in the rush. I think I might want a more substantial shirt, I got a little sunburnt.

I very much like the red umbrella. You look like you're from Firefly, what with the East-West fusion.
Also, Tom has a very nice cane.

Upon completion a wonderfull lady gifted us a bottle of Pyrat XO Reserve. That was a fun night. DB

Here's a photo that my main man Miimno took of me. I'm working on my Savonius wind turbine water pump project. Pardon my nosy little dog who had to check out the camera, because it makes flashy lights. I didn't have the energy to tone down his whiteness.

Gah! It IS Yosaffbridge! Quick, lock her in something! And Mr. Freestate looks far too well dressed to be Jayne...However, personality-wise he's more of a Jayne than a Simon, I think. Don't know him well enough to say for sure though...
