I finally persuaded a photographer friend to take pictures of me in a public place (she was worried we'd get set upon by the local rough types, but we emerged intact!) and thought I'd share the results...

Marvellous location too. If I may ask?

Such lovely compliments, I'll get a swollen head  Wink The pics were taken in Lydney, Gloucestershire, which has an old steam railway running through it (hence the bridge, and the pillary-canopy-thing) and a nice but sadly disused docks.

Oh, and don't tell anyone, but the corset was just from ebay.

Hahaha, no no I meant the beads. I got a terrible urge to add a pair of beaded braids . No dreadlocks for me though. I heart Captain Jack but not that much!  Cheesy

I just strung a load of various little bits and bobs onto copper jewellery wire, and fed them into the braids before wrapping the excess around. I made those skull ones out of FIMO.  I'd have liked a gear or two for a touch of steaminess, but they'd get snagged in the rest of my hair so....no haha.

Here are some pictures from a fashion shoot I was in a couple of weeks ago. Gentleman's waistcoat in antique silk by Eline Martinsen, Corsetiere. If you are ever in Canberra or nearby, I commend her to you.

No indeed. The design was mine: front and back lacing as you see, steel boned along the holes, two pockets at the midriff and nothing "Doctor Frank-N-Furter" about it.

Eline brought the vision to life however, and her tailoring surpasses any of the Oriental riffraff or even, I would argue, that of Gallery Serpentine.

Our glorious founder returns. We thought you had been eaten by wallabies. (At least that was my theory.) You have created a monster over at your Recolonising the Americas thread.

Those pictures are quite fabulous as well. I think that we will be seeing a flurry of posts from the ladies.

Yes indeed, Mr. Freestate, the waistcoat is lovely, but I'm particularly intrigued by your bracelet!  Did you make it yourself?  Can you tell me more about it (and perhaps show a close-up photo of it)?  I'm very partial to bracelets.  Cheesy

Without spilling a drop? Although it's not very realistic at all, all that pink stuff poured on the beautiful Horse Demon (in her human form) there is supposed to BE blood, as well as all the pink stuff on the floor. The special effects people were just kind of slacking on realism. Fun time though Smiley
