Playing as a pirate and all, I make quite a few enemies. Would you be willing to say that this is an appropriate disguise?

Fun with Photoshop.... Taken by the Spectacular Kevin Ross for some promotional stuff.

At Demicon a few weeks ago, I had the honor of launching the maiden voyage of our very own airship (...room party...)  The Brass Falcon!

Below are some images captured that weekend. Following a malfunction of our chrono manipulator, we found ourselves marooned in a den of pirates and scalawags...

:

Our captain, and primary shipwright at the helm.
:

...and enduring a mutiny...
:

Which may or may not have had to do with the "guest" he picked up while I was calibrating the time drive.
:

Unfortunately, I was somewhat preoccupied.
:
In my defense, absinthe was involved.

Of course, once I heard, I lept immediately into action...
:

:
...And poured myself another drink.

While our "public relations officer" dealt with the rest of the crew.
:

Unfortunately, operating my time machine....
:

...is much easier than piloting an airship...
:

For me anyway. That's probably why they didn't make me the pilot.

Watch the Tactile board, for more details on the airship and time machine props coming soon.

On Sunday some members of the League of Bournemouth Steampunks had a day out at the Beaulieu Steam Revival, where we got to ride on the Grenville Steam Carriage (a gentleman's toy built in 1875). Here we are, having survived horesless travel at the unimaginable speed of 20mph:

Just got my goggles in the mail the other day, and I was bored at home so I thought I'd put on my dress clothes... nothing fancy and some even less fancy editing, haha. Kind of wanted to give it a comic-book feel to it... either way:

Raas and me went to AKon this weekend and there was quite a bit of steampunk to oogle at. Here are few pictures from the convention.

Suppose this is the right place to put this.

Me at prom:
:

Unfortunately it was only a rental. I almost couldn't bring myself to return it. I definitely need to get some waistcoats in my wardrobe. And I have to say, suspenders are much, much better than belts.

Taken April Whitby Goth Weekend on Sunday (worst costume day of the weekend*sigh* oh well ;) ). This was taken by a photographer for Void Arts and should be appearing in thier next WGW Book.
The coat was made by myself by hand, as my machine was broken. Considering it took 2 months, it came out much better than I thought it would!

I got a couple of photos taken at Frontier Days at the local fort.
The lovely gentlemen in the second picture were very kind and very informative.

Greetings, all!

As you can all see from my lack of posts, I've recently joined. I've been lurking though, for a while, and thought it about time that I registered.

By way of introduction, I offer photographs:

(click thumbnails for larger versions)

And because there are far too many previous pictures to comment on separately, let me just say that you all look fabulous!

Also, to the few of you that I met at the SPWF, it was ever so nice running into you.

A guy I know needed to do head shots of unique looks so asked if I'd let him do a shoot with me in my top hat, I conceded. This is my favorite.

Thank you for the warm welcome!  ;D

AlegrahEredschtadt: Thank you kindly!

Utini420: Good to see you around here! Thanks for the pics....I do believe I have a group one with you in it:

Vagabond GentleMan: Hiya! Yes, yes, I remember your plaid quite well (quite fond of the pattern, myself) I have a picture of you as well:

TribalWren: Why thank you. I do love my plaid (as stated above) and so I suppose I can't help but throw in a good dose of punk to my looks.

RAYx8: Those striped pants are quite snazzy...  :)

Quetzalcoatl: Very cool shot!

maligncomedy: Neat jacket!

Hello, I'm Rose. I'm a longtime lurker, first time joiner.
Yes, i just posted my picture in another thread, but then I saw this one that was specifically for costumes.
I have a few costumes I switch between--this is stuff i'll gladly wear out and about XD I'm always looking to expand.
And by the way, everyone's costumes are freaking spectacular. Be my new best friend. XD
Alright, here we go:

....wow, that was an impressive amount of photowhoring. I apologize. XD
Anyway, that's that. I like the outfits a lot and am always looking for new little accoutrements to add! :)
