My turn again As promised yesterday, more photo's of last sunday First, a snap-shot of the very first incarnation of my costume for a new Middle East/Far East character: Yes, it will be better For one, the Middle East influences I've planned will be more clear Next up, some shots of my first Elf character, Vyrdas Shyre: (As always, click on the pics for bigger versions )He'll be a sneaky git, evil methods according to some, but a noble heart An Assassin specialised in hunting Necromancers

Here is a photo of myself and Steampunker Joseph at the Steampunk Vaudeville in Chicago two weekends ago. Also for your viewing pleasure are the participants(myself included) of the night's fashion show. I sort of 'borrowed' that last one from a flickr site, so before I get thrown from an airship for stealing, here's a link to the proper owners full set. http://www.flickr.com/photos/_lisamarie_/sets/72157624093201646It was a smash, even while driving home at 3am with no head lights!

Today has not been fun at all. So I took pictures of me being scandalous and cute to cheer me up. Sigh Playing in the woods.

Everyone looks so lovely. How about a Ryu in a new tail-coat? (Though the tails are unseen...)

The outfit I wore as a time-traveler to the Renaissance festival: The week before I dressed gypsyish, and the time before I was a pirate.

Finally, after, what? Two years since I finished my Space Helmet, and what with it being on display at Oxford while the Asylum and the last MCM expo were on, I haven't really had a chance to wear it out, but this past weekend was the spring MCM Expo, so I was finally able to give it a shakedown: The trouble with tea is that you can't drink it in space. Meeting a Dalek... ...and other aliens. You might notice that it 'leans' to the heavier side, due to it not being well supported by my slim shoulders- on Miss Brackenbury's advice, I have now attached a pair of adjustable webbing belts to the interior, in the style of braces (suspenders to the Americans), and now it sits just right! Thank you, Miss Brackenbury!
