Here is one of my Steampunk get-ups.
I'm still new to the scene, but I'm working at it.  ^_^

Here are my main looks from the Steampunk World's Fair. No photo of my Miskatonic Swim Team uniform but one may pop up eventually.

Minus the corset this is what I have going.

Ok the second picture isn't great but I hope it gets you the idea of the look.

The brown skirt is a thift store find for 2.00 that I plan on modifying only slightly, mainly I plan on getting some more victorian styled buttons and just change them out.

The black skirt is another thrift store find and its kinda hard to tell but its an aysemmetrical a-line skirt with ruffles, I'll have to get better pictures later, and I forgot to wear my granny boots with it, but it looks good with those boots IMO.

This is kind of a weird west/and or libriarian look I think especially considering the riding skirt, now to accesorise.

This past weekend, The Ladies Supernatural Exterminators Association made an appearance at MobiCon in Alabama.  Photographic evidence can be found here.

(Please excuse the link - the photo can't be posted so the link was all I had!)

An early incarnation of my first ever steampunk costume - for the Gilbert and Sullivan Society Pirates of Penzance. It's a shame the only decent picture I have of it is with a rather eerie red eye - I've done my best to patch it up , but it gives me a rather cool 'Automaton' effect that I really didn't have in real life... *shifty glance* I got rid of the pinstripe skirt in the end as too much, and settled on just the leggings and boots instead:

I seriously foam-at-the-mouth LOVE the jacket. This is a 'perk' from volunteering at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre Costume Hire, so unfortunately I don't own it, worst luck - it's so quirky! It looks very much like a riding jacket when it's on a hanger, but on a person, the black velvet lapels havbe a life of their own! Whoever made it was a genius. *sniffs* Wish it was me. I might have to have a go some time if i ever develop mad ninja sewing skills....

So we had another Steampunk Picnic here in our lovely city. The weather turned out to be perfect and there was a good crowd as well. All in all a fantastic day!

The group photo we took at the Steampunk Worlds Fair, with a little alteration.

I've finally gotten all the pics I took cleaned up (I just don't like posting raw snapshots) and will be posting them all to my blog, and a select few around here someplace.

I took a couple of pictures of my girlfriend in the turquoise overbust steampunk corset that I made for her. The necklace is by The Spectra Nova, one of our friends from Etsy.
