Phwoaarr!!! Look at the chatelaine on that...

Ummm... sorry. I went all Sun reporter there for a moment.

A stiff brandy and a lay down in a darkened room might help.

A photo of the boyfriend and me at Elf Fantasy Fair a couple weeks back.
Unfortunately, no photos including my skirt. 'Unfortunately' because I would've liked to show off my leather bustle frame...
Luckily I had a photoshoot in that outfit a week later, so will have photos soon.. I hope.

A rather nice set of earrings there RoseOak!

I believe I may have one of those little cannons somewhere, purchased from the gift-shop of a castle back when I was a nipper.

I think they are keyrings originally.

Lots of bravery for wearing such heavy earrings.

It's great seeing people throw out things like "not so steamy" ad drift towards Dieselpunk.

A picture taken by my flatmate while I was getting ready for Bedlam on Saturday. Unfortunately there are no pictures of my outfit, which was "insane asylum escapee" and the Lidl bag ruins this shot a little bit, but I still think it´s pretty good:

I've been a little slow in getting my pictures up from our last Gears & Beers. Thankfully Mr. Sable posted some excellent photos. I have a couple more to add!

Steampunks must plot their diabolical plans before putting them into action. Too bad a camera man caught us in the act!

I see Panache followed me from XMarkstheScot.

Actually I would love it if people came to my grave to celebrate my life, what an honor!

I go away from the forum for a few days and when I come back I find more Xmarkers!?
I obviously need to check the forum more often.

Both of you chaps are looking fantastic.

Awww now they would make a fab set  Cheesy

Well they have little holes in the top and seem to be hollow
( and yes I would  Tongue)

I think they are keyrings originally.

Lots of bravery for wearing such heavy earrings.

They might have been but the holes are a bit too small for a key ring chain and look more likely to be tow bar holes for little toy horses in harness or however it was they used to move them.
I wore them all day today and they aren't that bad. I've always worn big earrings so its natural for me to have some weight there.

Mr Escaper, that is actually a really nice look. Nice facial hair too.

Thank you for your responses.  And while I too am a fan of my facial hair I am awaiting the day it thickens enough on my cheeks for some serious mutton chops.
In addition I love some of the other photos posted.  Those earrings are fantastic.  And finally Mr Ambrose, I find myself a wearer of browns and other such earth tones.  I feel quite at home in them.  On the average day, when not in very Victorian, or Depression Era clothes, I am found in dark blue jeans, brown well worn cowboy boots, and a brown or dark green shirt or something along those lines.

I LOVE this picture. Very fun!

Just for the sake of an update, I got bored today and was having trouble finding inspiration for the chapter I'm working on, so I decided to play dress up.

Here is Lord Arlen Donald, Tenth Earl of Danesmead, Lord of Loch Marbleberry, GENTLEMAN ADVENTURER!!!!!
Freshly returned from the Fleurestia Planes.

Its not very steamy but I got a new dress  Smiley My earrings on the other hand

Small metal cannons I got at the car boot this morning for 10p  Smiley

I hesitate to mention this as I'm not in favor of weaponizing earlobes but someone has just created a fully functional cannon which is about the same size as your earrings. Granted they would be too heavy, nevertheless it could represent a new chapter in concealed Neo-Victorian armaments. markf

I also don´t see why a canon can´t be scaled down as much as you want, the principle should be the same.

Thanks Brasshooter, I am a bit of a connoisseur of camouflage and the colors were not right (for Desert MARPAT), a common problem with computer photography.
