These are obviously not of me... this is my daughter (now a teen) back when she was 3.  I used to dress her like this all the time... this wasn't Easter or anything!  (She's a little mortified about this now because she's not really into this look =D  haha.)

I had a dress a lot like that once but I wore it with wellies for jumping in puddles.  I had a lot less hair back then.

My grandmother altered these old dockers of mine and so today took them for a spin with my Rudge Bicycle.  The bicycle is from the late 50's.

Looks like it was a fun night, Mr. Sable. I'll have to see about joining you guys for a night out next time I'm in town. There isn't enough happening with Edmonton Steampunk, and I need some adventure.  Cheesy

Admittedly not very steampunk but I'm heading more for that 1930s-1940s military look, although this may not be particularly dieselpunk either but some of you may still appreciate it, or what do I know. Hadn't posted a picture here before so why not. Smiley

Aren't they amazing  Grin  I couldn't believe it when  I saw them in a box of kids plastic toys. I'm guessing they came from one of those replica mags or war game kits/collectables. They're about an inch and a half long.
They already had holes in them so fixing on the earring bits was easy peasy. Only trouble is they weigh a ton so I may end up with weird ears if I wear them for too long.

Yes besides being too heavy, I bet those earrings are great for getting your hair tangled up in. Nice idea though.

Actually there isn't much for my hair to get tangled in. If you aren't used to wearing things like that then you might think that its a lot more trouble then it is. I tend to wear my hair piled up when I'm out and about.

The munchkins like me wearing funny earrings so I'll be using them for work as well

A photo of the boyfriend and me at Elf Fantasy Fair a couple weeks back.
Unfortunately, no photos including my skirt. 'Unfortunately' because I would've liked to show off my leather bustle frame...
Luckily I had a photoshoot in that outfit a week later, so will have photos soon.. I hope.
