The Daleks Invasion of Earth 2150 AD also featured a very young Bernard Cribbins as a London policeman..who is now back in Dr Who..or at least was until very recently.. as Catherine Tate's grandad!
Bernard's back in the Xmas special. There was I, diggin' this 'ole.....

This just in - David Tennant coming to the USA in an hour long NBC TV comedy pilot about a lawyer who suffers panic attacks which forces him to give up lawyering? I just don't know. markf ======================================================== http://scifiwire.com/2009/11/sarah-connor-producer-to.phpAnd speaking of a character we'll miss, Doctor Who's Tennant has officially moved on from his BBC series, even though we haven't seen his final work as the Doctor yet. Tennant has moved across the pond to NBC to play the lead in the pilot Rex Is Not Your Lawyer, a non-sci-fi hourlong comedy about a lawyer who suffers panic attacks, which forces him to give up lawyering. Instead he begins coaching his clients to represent themselves in court. The wonderful Jeffrey Tambor has been cast as Rex's psychiatrist, who knows more than a little something about anxiety disorders because he has them. He's also dating Rex's mother, which is likely to make Rex even more anxiety-ridden. And Abigail Spencer (Mad Men) will play an ambitious lawyer at Rex's firm, who also happens to be his fiancée. David Semel directs from a script by Andrew Leeds and David Lampson. Apparently the role was destined to be Tennant's. NBC green-lighted the project during the summer, and then had been having trouble finding a lead until they grabbed up our favorite Doctor.

The End Of Time... hmm. I think that it has something to do with the Time Lock that surrounds the Last Great Time War and the destruction of Skaro... and Gallifrey. I think that someone or something tries to undo the Time War, for catastrophic results.

No no, it will really be the end of time, the Doctor will be "resetted", and the next season will be a "Timelord Academy" with Matt Smith as the young first Doctor! (Well, I don't think so, as long as Doctor Who is produced by the BBC and not by Fox, there no need to worry.) BTW: Did anyone see the new K9 programme? Not SJA, which is very good, there is a new "K9" programme on Disney XD. A new and modern designed K9, but very bad actors and a even worse story...

Not SJA, which is very good, there is a new "K9" programme on Disney XD. A new and modern designed K9, but very bad actors and a even worse story... I'll have one of those reset buttons, please! That way I won't have seen that Children in Need preview of the Christmas Special, which was one of the worst Dr Who things I've seen so far... (available on Youtube) "Got married! That was a mistake... Good Queen Beth... Let me tell you... Her nickname is no longer... hm... anyway. What do you want?" "You should not have delayed." "Last time I was here you told me my song would be ending soon and I'm in no hurry for that." "You will come with me" "Let me lock the TARDIS. *uses car lock remote, TARDIS beeps and light flashes* Like a car. See? I locked it like a car. That's funny, no?"
Unfortunately, as far as I'm concerned it isn't... That first part might give a hint as to why "Queen Beth" wanted his head in The Shakespeare Code. Of course that would be if it were like the Doctor to marry someone just for fun, or like him to make a bad pun with a sexual connotation in a special show for kids. Delayed? For once, in the previous episode, the Doctor had managed to land exactly where and when he wanted back on Earth (while it made absolutely no sense to go there). He could possibly have arranged to land at the right time back to meet the Ood. And avoided the stupid car lock joke, and... I don't know, answered something along the lines of "Timelords are never late, Ood Sigma, nor are they early, they arrive precisely when they mean to... Unless of course the High Council uses the remote. Or giant bugs, wrinkly old men, beams of light, Daleks... " At least it will hopefully be the last episode like that. Looking forward to the New New New Doctor.
(Oh, and that new K9 looks atrocious, quite possibly 'as good' as the acting and plots for those episodes...)

I've heard that quote..or something very like it before. And maybe it's just me but this guy doesn't dress nearly as ..'quirky' as Doctor Who should. This new guy looks like a drug dealer!

That was just his first publicity shot- in fact, neither he nor the TARDIS were in the same room, just photoshop'd together so no casual passerby would twig what was going on! Clicke here if you are sure you wish to be spoilt! Mr. Smith is actually going for a more Geek Chic look: Tweed, clip on bow tie, and a performance informed by Patrick Troughton's turn as the Timelord, or so I hear...

Perhaps High School Musical: Timelord Academy, it would explain the change in appearance of the now far too old cast by having them regenerate.
