Not much left to do with it now.... still needs some paint on the underframe, and the '12 tons' legend needs amending to 15, weathering and varnishing, but other than that....

I'm very fond of my steamcats, but I don't think they would enjoy going to festivals or dressing up very much. They already hate Christmas:

I often carry this, which is sort of like a train case and which I picked up at Home Goods about two years ago:
![]() I've noticed these kinds of bags/boxes cropping up at a lot of home and craft stores over the past few years as steampunk trickles into the mainstream, and they're usually pretty inexpensive to acquire. For my last steampunk event, I thrifted two plain-looking leather bags with long shoulder straps and wore them criss-crossed across my chest - gave me room to carry my DSLR in addition to my money and stuff. I still need a solution for evening - I'm thinking of buying some purse hardware and sewing/beading my own evening bag. |

Like most of the city's inhabitants, there was within Jonathon Bertholdt von Trappe at the very least a grain or two of the nefarious facet of human nature. That is to say, he actually did consider making a "deal" of the pleasurable sort, so to speak. His senses of duty and propriety won out, however. "I think we can, Miss Una," he said. "The Justices have been trying to catch the Le Croix family at exactly the kind of thing that you were subjected to for several years; that Bluelight Device you were kept in's supposed to be illegal, but as you may be able to imagine, "illegal" does not always equal "nonexistent" around these parts.
"I'll cut right to the point of the deal that we, th' Justices, would find the most agreeable: Would you be willing to name your captors and their crimes and sins against your person, before a court of law and jury of your peers, in exchange for help in finding the information you seek? I'll add that justice is the right of any citizen of Prosperity City, of course. The special bit of help that we would ask of you is your testimony against specifically Christian himself and broadly the Family Le Croix." Trapper caught his breath while he waited for the girl's answer. That was by far the longest offer he'd made for such a thing in quite a long time. |

We're smart people with many talents if the sails don't fit we should make our own and put the money towards better productions and PARTIES! Just as long as it's not steampunk based - with our loose fit description of what is steampunk (steampunk is whatever you think it is), I could see our discussion on what should be in the show being rather.........long... ![]() Mind you we probably *could* knock up a TV show, we have many creative types and even a few professional props and model makers who either work in, or have knowledge of the industry.... ![]() SS |

While they're all great, the guy in the brown greatcoat is definitely my favourite so far.

A 1920's style clutch would work well if you modded a strap onto it.
I'm one for dandy and dazzling and rhinestones though |
