"Ladies and Gentlemen,
I'm delighted to bring you a couple more updates about our event next month.
First, whilst we've been calling it a 'ball' for quite a while, our event description makes no mention of ballroom music or formal dancing. This is because, as we are a fairly relaxed collective who like to bring fun to all regardless of their waltzing abilities and will be playing music rather different to the traditional ball fare, it's not really a 'ball' as such, more a 'party', a 'get-together' an 'excuse to don fancy clothes and have a jolly old knees-up'. With that in mind, we have changed the name to the Summer Soiree. For accuracy, and science! (Possibly not the latter.)
Furthermore, it is with great pleasure that I announce the return of the Sarasvati Tribal Belly-Dancers into our midst for the evening, to further delight you all with their wonderful costumes and mesmerizing performances!
Please remember to spread the word and mark a space in your calendars! Remember, it's £3 for members of GUESS and Dreams of Steam and £5 for all other attendees. Advanced tickets can be purchased from our Quartermaster Nina Jones, who can be contacted either via the our facebook page (
