Yes and I was so very excited to get it and today I did! Mich you really will not be disappointed by the story (and really I don't see how that could be possible anyway) I devoured the story immediately. I would encourage anyone wanting to read it buy the magazine. It's definately worth it. Jaq, I have also PM ed you with a question or two on a semi related subject.

I'm very happy that you enjoyed my story so much.

It was raised as a valid point on the REH forum the other day, that the only people writing the short stories/novella's of weird/eerie/ or sword and sorcery or swashbuckling adventure tales that were so prevelent between the 50's and the late 70's, are chaps/chapesses like myself, who write for the various fantasy fiction magazines and webzines.

Finding a huge fantasy tome that runs to 500 pages and which is serialised into seven volumes, is no problem.
Finding 200 page one-off novels or short story collections and novella's is all but impossible in the mainstream bookshops.

It's very true that for people who do like the above kind of tales, magazines like Flashing Swords and Weird Tales and dozens of others are really the only option.

Cheers: Jaq.

Shalako-Lin and I just made our first Youtube advertising video for Rogue Blades Entertainment book publishers.

Check it out. We're very proud of it.

Having just found this forum in the past few days, I was browsing through the archives when I happened upon this thread - and it has made for a great evening of reading! I really enjoyed the suspense created. This story is like one of those books that you can't put down, you have to keep reading to find out what happened.  Smiley

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Vanessa.

I've been busy writing a novella for a UK publisher of pulp genre fiction.
Hence my not being here at BG so much.

Later in the year I hope to write another story for BG that follows on from A Ripping Yarn.

'Rise of the Bayloks'   Shocked

World War One never happens. Instead the world must unite to fight the menace of the Baylok hordes.

I'll probably start it about September.
I'm shortly to go on a 3 month long motorcycle tour of Europe, so no time now.

I penned this eerie little piece for BG readers also; The House of Dead Whores.

     Hello everyone
I am pleased to say that Shalako-Lin and I have returned from our adventures overseas and whilst we are continuing to have more adventures back home in Sydney...we decided it was time I starting writing my new story in the Baylok saga.

So...if you follow this link you will find the first installment of my new tale here at BG.
