I am heading out this weekend to see what venues around town offer a Victorian/Edwardian ambiance for a dinner party. The only two places I know of off-hand will be expensive (the Ottoman and the Hyatt for those who know Canberra), and I want to decorate the dinner venue. There are a few locals interested (none currently forum members), and if I can get the numbers I will run an event sometime in August when it is still cool enough to dress in all the steamy layers.

Send me a message if you're interested, and I'll find a venue and a date that suits most people.

I'd offer my place, but I want an open fireplace and for once to not be doing all the cooking!
