Found this website while i was researching what kind of glue to use on moleskin.

http://www.thistothat.com/

Gives suggestions as to what kinds of glue one should use to stick specific materials to other materials.  I find it incredibly useful, and hope you will too.

A couple weeks ago i set up an electro etching rig, and followed Jake von Slatt's directions on Steampunk Workshop.  A good friends birthday is this week, and i thought a good present would be a moleskin with an etched brass picture, a la von Slatt.  I may post pictures, depending on how early i get home tonight.

Excellent site for us tinkerers. Well found!!
Love the idea of "Glue of the month."

I'd use the same stuff that moles use, as it never seems to come off them and they live in very damp conditions.

Kind regards,

Dr. Q.

Here are some pictures of the moleskin/etchings i have done.

Both the Abney Park one and the celtic knot did not work as well as i hoped they would.  My theory for this is that my printer did not put enough toner on, and the brass was etched a bit under the toner.  The plate which is on the moleskin was made using paper which i copied the image onto using a copier, and thus had thicker toner.

Edit:  It seems like the pictures did not work...but i am not sure why.  I think that if you click on them it will take you to the website?
