Quote
Historical text published in 1889, "based on the Old English backsword-play of the Eighteenth Century, combined with the method of the modern Italian School. Also on various weapons of the present-day, including the shortsword-bayonet and the constable's truncheon."

I have not yet had the opportunity to download it myself, so let me know if it's good. Wink

Steam guns are pretty useless, when you consider the trolley with the boiler and firebox that you have to drag around!  Cheesy
Not to consider the manservant for stoking it up...

"Quickly Jeeves, the steam rifle, there's a tiger ready to pounce!
"A moment sir, pressures not up, need more coal"
"arrgggh!"
"NOM NOM NOM!"  (to use a current aethernet meme   Cheesy  )

Cheers

seems to work fine for me.

it is good to see old books being preserved like this, it is the only real way to preserve these historical books.  in the (probably misquoted) words of linus, tapes are for sissies, real men upload to FTP and let the whole world mirror it.

i think i will still stick to hand cannon though.

Excellent. I shall have to make a sabre. Before that damnable sword ban.
