Right now the chatroom receives only a minimum of activity, probably due to the fact that this topic is the only indication that it exists at all. You'd think that being the only IRC channel made for the community that it would get a bit more recognition. We could at least pin the topic, or perhaps provide a permanent link somewhere noticeable to a post that contains the information necessary. That would likely boost the amount of traffic considerably.
EDIT: Seems I got beaten to that as well.
