So for the past 6 weeks I have been running a booth at the local renasance faire and I thought I would share my outfits with you here so I am not putting way too many picures in the dress up thread.
First weekend.

Second weekend was hot as heck.

Third weekend with wild temperature fluctuation.

Fourth weekend was far to hot for October.

And fifth weekend went from 80 to in the 40s and rainy.

And then we jumped to a local faire that had beautiful weather sat and horrable weather on sunday.

Pretty, pretty, pretty. I love trying to work out your 'mix and match' combinations.

I like that I can cram most of my wardrobe in a backpack.  I need to make a few more long sleeve shirts because the weather in missouri is so random.

You manage to fit all of those wonderful outfits into just one backpack?! It must use Gallifreyan technology...

All of the ensembles are, as always, lovely, and I particularly admire your paneled green corset.

Yours,
Miranda.

The secret is fabric that doesn't mind wrinkles and a strong zipper.  I will admit it looks like an overstuffed tick when I am done.

Thanks. I admit I am one of the few people in our group that really likes dressing up so I think I end up making up for the rest of them.

Ms. Gaslight, stunning as usual! I love your skeletal friend and am jealous of his luck in finding a lovely spot to be admired from. you look sufficiently wicked enough that you should be carrying a deep red apple to poison the competition with, not that you have any serious competition when all dolled up! I think that green and gold corset is fantastic too, it works so well with all the different elements you wore.

looking at the light glowing through your parasol has given me an idea. paint and decorate an umbrella to look like a nautilus! a few cloth tentacles stitched to cover the part of the umbrella that would be devoid of shell and to dangle from there and some flexible paint for cloth to decorate the rest. hopefully it would hold up to opening and closing.

wish my painting skills were up to par for doing something like this.

Thank you for the compliments.I actually want to make a half octopus dress sort of like Ursula from the little mermaid with tentical legs and I may have to make a nautilus as well.
