Welcome back!

Thanks for the video - I imagine the whole build would be really long! What a nice piece of kit too, very impressive; I like the way the coin cell pops in and out in particular.

It must be nice to be able to know what something is going to look like before you start it ...  Grin

I never know anything, before I start making. All I had the the shape of the outline ^^
The rest was done "on the fly".

Wow! I really thought this was a few weeks of cad work to make sure all of the bits would fit, then many moons making them do so.

Marvellous! I doff my hat to your skills, Sir!

Thanks again guys.
I just like working that way. The best ideas come while working, and the human brain is a reliable computer anyway :p
In the end, you have to build it and I dont like the fact that you see what it will look like on a screen, before you even
start fabricating parts. Its like 3D printing a lego set. Building is fun, the more you take away, the worse ^^

I just have to echo all of the above; that is an immensely impressively realised piece of engineering sculpture.

Yours,
Miranda.

Thank you mam.
In general, I am more the "weapons guy", but maybe I should try making other things as well.
Wearables maybe Smiley

Beautiful work My Dear Ansel!

In general, I am more the "weapons guy" ....

Ah, but to the astute mind, any and all things can be a weapon!

Potentially a weapon and 100% a weapon still makes the difference professor ^^

Ach Mein Liebe Ansel -

revolvers have been used as hammers
and hammers have been used as weapons

is it  all semantics?
is it all in the hand (or mind) of the beholder?

am I a man dreaming I am a butterfly or
a butterfly dreaming I am an F-15 ?

I would try something thats TOTALLY harmless, but I am too tired and the day is not even over.
Have to finish a steampunk fallout rifle (yes, another weapon). Sundays suck

Ah My Dear Ansel

is anything truely "harmless"?

I am aware of Japanese Buddhist monks who developed an entire defensive art using sacred deer hide scrolls to parry attacks from bandits, including sword attacks; or tangling an attackers' hands using prayer beads. One fellow actually parried live sword blades using a rolled up newspaper.

I submit it is all about INTENT.
Any object is just an object.
A person "gets out" what he "puts in".
Good Intent == Good object

with all respect ( and i love your work)
