Does anyone on here know if it is possible to get some sort of connector (or a combination of fittings) to connect a standard photographic tripod tread to an M10 (10mm) thread. I am looking add a light fixture to an old brass tripod I recently acquired.

Thanks

I'm assuming that the tripod is the male thread- so you need a 1/4" 20tpi female thread to a 10mm male?

I would try pneumatic adapters for compressed air - there are many suppliers in the UK, they should have something suitable, but I'm not sure what they would call them...

Not sure if this could help in any way. If the Tripod is brass, this could be sleeved/ drilled and soldered as required if no alternative can easily be found.

I use these alot in builds of every kind.

munsen ring extension M10 thread m+F.........
