Hi all! I am working on ‘Magdalene, a girl out of the blue’, a dark fantasy short film which will be shot in Yorkshire next May and has a steampunk vibe. This is the crowd funding campaign for the film  www.igg.me/at/magdalenefilm For such projects every little contribution is a huge help. If you like dark films with strampunk costumes please be part of it and make it happen! Contribute and share!

A dark urban fantasy, where the post industrial city is crumbling away, humanity is forgotten, and there is anger everywhere. Is this movie about Detroit?

RJBowman: I have never been in Detroit but I could use it for my next film!

J. Wilhelm: Thanks!

Detroit has been utilized in some large Hollywood films; there is a great variation in the appearances of different districts, and if your production needs abandoned industrial or commercial sites, no city has more. For a few years the State of Michigan was also subsidizing film production, but at this time they aren't doing it any more.
