A bit of a silly one this, I took pity on a leather covered Hippo ornament at a table top sale, he was overlooked and had a missing tail and ear.
After much head scratching, he became what you see here, an armoured safari vehicle to remain incognito Smiley

He is around 38cm long

Wonderfully creative. I suppose the only step up from this would be a motorised elephant...

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

I am in the process of making more objects for my second ever exhibition at an upcoming Tattoo Convention here in France.  My pieces were very well received after the first, which was incredibly humbling, and I met and made friends with some amazing people in the Tattoo world.

I was sceptical about exhibiting at a tattoo convention, but my Son Matt, a talented Tattoo Artist, assured me that it was a good idea, and that the tattoo world and the Steampunk world would be a fine mix.  He was right!.

After Fifty odd years, with an early career as a Graphic Designer, I think I finally realised that Art is ART, the genré doesn't matter, artists appreciate art in all its forms.
