"This content doesn't seem to be working. Please try again later."

I know the BBC are very tetchy about letting people use iPlayer from abroad, but when last I checked Staffordshire had not unilaterally declared independence from the UK.  So says El Presidente (that would be, err, me) anyway.

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

Yes, but blink and you'll miss me! Time mark 21:21, wearing a copper top hat, which I made myself,  and steampunk-borg face prosthetic; we were watching the Deetbeats, an absolutely fantastic drum group, and I wasn't even aware of the cameraman next to me! 'A Splendid Day Out' at Morecambe, where this was filmed last June, is always great fun.

I remember seeing that a few days ago or so, thats what got me interested in the steampunk community as a whole not to mention japanese anime such as the anime called "Steam-boy" having steam powered soldiers or steam powered battle-wagons and such! i can't wait to get myself kitted out and become a steampunk gentleman!  Cheesy  That would explain why the dog managed to set fire to the curtains this morning.

Like to see, but will probably be years, if ever, that Aunty (ABC) puts it on. OR SBS, for that matter!

I, too, want to know about the pyromaniac dog, so more info, please!

Could it have been a red 'fire' setter?

 Cheesy

He managed to knock over a space heater into the curtains.  Saved it before it became a big fire but the curtains were mildly 'scorched', shall we say.

Perhaps you've got a new breed there - the Pyronean Curtain Dog.  Smiley
