I was doing my Christmas Dinner shopping today, and one of the things that I had to find was cinnamon sticks for something called "pot coffee" (no reference to illicit drugs  Roll Eyes rather the name for Mexican style brewed coffee. The coffee is brewed in a clay pot with a cinnamon stick in the water, grated Piloncillo (and intermediate step between molasses/treacle and brown sugar) and orange peels or orange juice.

Does that count as a hybrid tea-coffee?  Many other Latin American flowers, legumes and fruits are used to make teas; for example, Hibiscus Tea (Agua de Jamaica), and Tamarind Water (made with the pulp and seeds of the dried fruit-like Tamarind pods).
