I've been trying out casting gear-motif "cameos" with brass powder infused in resin. I was trying for brass-on black, but never like the results. Then I tried all brass and it looked interesting. Using black resin gives the brass a greenish/antique brass look, and a bit like sand-casting. What do folks think?

I tried some with red and green resins, too. The red gave an "almost copper" look.

I agree. The red and green ones look much nicer.
It looks like a good technique to pursue.

These are the beginnings of some nice jewellery.

How about some regency-style necklaces and tiaras?

The red and green ones look very authentic, but I do like the all-brass too.

I like them.  Especially the one in the bottom right, dark green on my monitor.
They would make great buttons.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
These are the beginnings of some nice jewellery.
