Are there any proficient banjo players in the north London/Hertfordshire area who'd be interesting in getting involved in a wild west steampunk band? All that's required is commitment, proficiency and a love of the old west. Minimal rehearsal costs. Please PM me if interested.

Fiddle/trumpet/harmonica/piano players also welcome on a more casual basis.

Looks like a banjo player has now been found.

Which brings me to my second request:

Any fiddle players out there with a penchant for playing wild west music?? Same criteria as the post above.

as somebody out here on the edge of the actual wild west (Texas), I am fascinated that this part of American culture has made it over to y'all.

Is it popular in England?  What do you sound like (I'm imagining some influences might change it up a bit).

I don't know about Brits, but I believe our own MW Bailey (also in Texas) plays that instrument...
