Another piece for my upcoming and first ever exhibition, at the Tattoo Convention in Coutances, France.

A study of a crazed, captured Demon. A blood sucker, preying on small animals and birds, muzzled and restrained before her passing, for the sake of the scientists studying her.

Made as usual, from recycled and found objects including broken jewellery, a plastic skeleton from China, a vintage bell jar, taxidermy feet from a licensed gamekeeper, some modelling clay, and parts of an antique bon bon dish.

This piece instantly reminded of Ray Harryhausen, you can just imagine him pulling at those chains in a Sinbad type film, stop animation or Dynamation.

Best of luck at the upcoming exhibition, I'm sure all your creations will be admired with awe and salivation.

Another fine one!

That's praise indeed, thank you very much.  I am looking forward to exhibiting to the 'public' for the first time, an exciting if slightly nerve wracking prospect!  Grin

Such a delicate little demon, her muzzle looks quite classy.  Shocked

However, when next I am offered a bon-bon, I will be sure to check that the likes of her are not hiding underneath!

Very well done and thank you for sharing! - g

If that demon is anything like her larger cousins the Succubus and the Incubus, then they're likely hermaphroditic... Do watch out.  Grin
