Just wondered if anyone else is going to this in a week or so (6th & 7th August)? We are looking forward to a couple of days of 'promenading'  and they seem to have a few things organised for daytime as well as evening entertainment (although I'm not sure if we'll be at all of those).

Sadly I am at the World's other lands end.  It sounds like an interesting event

Looking forward to seeing people over the weekend. I just need to get a jetpack made for the youngest and help the eldest with our teapot racing entry tomorrow; as per usual, I've managed to leave things to the last minute  Shocked

Yours,
Miranda.

We are supposed to be going today (Thursday) so we can have a day in Wales before the steaminess begins, but at the moment we're both nursing colds and it's raining so I don't want to pack the car and get all the bags wet*, and there's congestion on the M6 which means facing the Runcorn Bridge (don't ask) so goodness knows when we'll leave.  Possibly tomorrow!
Looking forward to it, and hope we'll have more opportunity to chat. Husband has decided to come in male mode - so he gets an opportunity to wear his tail coats (and it doesn't take him an hour and a half to get ready to go out)
*Why are there always so many bags?
