An old memory from my childhood; my school library had a book containing plans for a soap-box car called the "Buffy Porson"; it was a wooden car designed to look like an early-twentieth-century racing car. When I was in the fourth grade the book was passed around my classroom during a rainy day recess, and it was agreed that this would be a cool thing to have, but I don't think that any of the boys had the skill or attention span to actually build it.

I did a google search for the car name that I remembered, having no confidence that I had remembered the name correctly, or had the correct spelling, but this came up on the first try:

The thin book in PDF form in its entirety. Share and enjoy
