Same here, first log on for a few days, coming along very nicely, I really like the triple gas bag idea, yet another corker in the making methinks.

I never tire of seeing these Airships Maets.  You are a true 'alchemist' with metal, I wish I had the skills to use metal the way you do.
I can't wait to see the outcome.....Smiley

I too would have commented sooner, however, aside from my projects on the go, I seem to be spending most of my time Baby sitting the Grand kids!/  I promise to pay more attention  Wink

Thanks!

Two more pictures.  Two main pieces together, as it hangs in the shop.  single point hang. Primary work is done.  A few planned details to take care of.  Loading ramp and anchor on the list.  Looking for input on what is missing?  Any thoughts?  Thanks.

You may want to Add some Wood Look Highlights to the Supports & some Gold Trim to the Gas Bags. Hope this Helps.

Looking lovely!

I like Cmdr. Storm's suggestion of gold trim, could help bring a little extra pop to it, though either way it's looking fantastic!

I feel giving a mastercraftsman suggestions is far beyond my limited amateur attempts at making, a bit like telling  Charles Atlas to forget about Dynamic Tension, you want to chuck a few weights about my son, or Johnny Weissmuller, maybe take up another sport, this swimming thing, is it a good idea, eh?

Looks foppin' fab so far! Looking forward to the detailing as it happens. Brass or copper?

Thanks.  Some of both brass and copper.  I am keeping the ark itself relatively simple.  Going strong this morning working on it and then the power went out for 5 hours.  Just came back on.  I did manage to mow the lawn and do some other yard work.  Back in the shop in the morning.

Looking fantastic!, input......nothing really, I think the anchor, hanging below on a chain, will give it another dimension, so, just keep up the good work Smiley

Wasn't on yesterday.
Loving this build, Maets! Looks like it will fly well.
I am presuming that there will be some heads sticking out of portholes somewhere, and Noah, beard flying in the wind, Mrs Noah and the 'kids'!? Cheesy

I have a small collection of animal pairs for the ship.  Some maybe fixed in place, while others will be movable allowing you to play.

I had the idea of calling it Norah' Ark.  That is Noah's little known sister.  She built an ark like her brother, but then added the airbag for insurance, but alas poor Norah crashed and was never seen again.  Of course Norah was carrying the unicorn and the dinosaurs.

Yes, the fate of Norah Zark's airship was a sad tale indeed.
