Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!
https://www.facebook.com/events/247528402262179/?active_tab=posts

We have a new worldwide literary game on at the moment and the subject is Steam-powered Island

Accounts of sightings, newspaper clippings, short stories, and poetry are all welcome.
We also encourage entries of graphic arts as well.

All entries shall be included in the Steampunk Madrid blog entry of 5 May

I remain yours,
Prof. Cecily

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen,
So far we have two graphic arts entries for the game!

My own entry shall be in the form of a newspaper clipping reporting about an extraordinary sighting off the coast of Lanzarote.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
After all, the sighting wasn't off the coast of Lanzarote, but rather Almeria
https://www.facebook.com/events/247528402262179/?active_tab=posts

I've posted it up in both Spanish and English versions.

There's still time till 2 May to contribute to the game!

I'll just drop in with my mod hat on and say this is falling close to self-promotion with no real discussion happening.

If we can maybe get some talk going in this thread about the game it'll be in the all-clear.

I think I should also mention I had a dream about this game, only Bailey was a woman...

I assure you, that incident in Singapore was all a misunderstanding.

Well, let's blame my linguistic failings for that...

Perhaps our other Spanish speakers can read for us, and thus aid the discussion?

I'm just as guilty, if not more so. I studied Spanish for 4 years (not by my own choice, mind you) and can barely remember a word of it.

'Tengo un gato en mis pantalones' is about as far as I can get.

Hardly "more so"; it took me eight semesters to earn my required four semesters worth of credit.*

Soy estúpido.

Ah! I caught it this time (clearly I scrolled down too fast originally and didn't catch the en inglés version).

Clever...but a tease! We're missing the third column, but I'm guessing that was part of the plan. Nicely done.

It seemed to me that some text was missing at the bottom of column two, which I presumed to be continued in column three.

Have I misread?

As far as I can see there's only one column of text in the blog. I'm curious as to what you're seeing.
