Myladies an Gentlemen,

at first I have to excuse my english, i'm not a native speaker.

After several Years in my national steampunk society I try to expand my contacts in this forum. At first I invite you to have a look on my steampunkt-notebook with this internet link.
The link is the website of my national steampunk society in Germany.

My word this is fantastic! I have been seriously considering how to best make a steampunk keyboard for a desktop computer, but have had trouble sourcing keys for it.
Where did you get the keyboard keys for your notebook from, or how did you make them?
In fact, do you have any pictures of the work that went into making the notebook into that box? I'd love to see more pictures because I'm sitting here trying to work out how you've done it and what the circles are beneath the keyboard.

I'd love to see more of your creations full stop. Smiley

Thank you.
To see some pictures of building the machine, please look at the link on top of this post. On that webpage (in german) you can scroll down and see some pictures.
I coloured the keys with metal colour, used some metal rings, fills it up with black modelling paste (Label: Fimo) and glues the letters on it. (I hope you understand my english;)  )

I missed those images in the comments the first time around. Thank you for letting me know they were there.
Your way of doing the keys is different, I have never seen anybody just add on to the keys before, most keyboards I have seen have people trying to replace the keys entirely, and sometimes it doesn't work.
As for your english, it is clear enough to understand. It's not perfect, but neither is mine, and I am a native english speaker all my life. Thank you for sharing this, you have given me some ideas. Smiley
