The first in quite a while. It's an experiment combining grisaille underpainting in acrylics and thin oil glazes.

At a quick glance I though it was a photo ... at a slightly longer glance I thought it was a photoshopped "oil painting", then I looked closer ... and my jaw hit the floor Shocked

I really like this, and I just can't put my finger on quite why... It may be that she looks so cheerful!
I do like the weird effect that make it look- to me, anyway- as though everything is slightly transparent- but only when you are not looking at that particular part... if anyone knows what I mean...
