Since I belong to the Procrastinators Club, I'll decide later on which decisions I wish to ponder.

A regrettable tendency towards seasickness precludes several of these possibilities.

OK,while I defer any decisions, I can start telling you what I would NOT want.  Riding a kraken may be hazardous to your health.  That I definitely don't want to do, and there ain't any Steampunk who is crazy enough to do that.

with a time machine, you can always go back to before, and do them all, one by one...Wink

So basically you only need to target one of them.  The rest will follow. Eventually you fond yourself doing all of the above?

I picked zeppelin pilot - it took me a minute or 2 of contemplation though.  I do like shooting things . History is interesting  and there are some things I would like to check out.  Watching  krakens from a safe distance would be fascinating.

The fixations with airships won out .

Definitely a time machine. Into the distant past to sort out the truths as to the real histories of the various religions (history is written by the winners), and then into the future to see which predictions actually come true. Robert A. Heinlein said the mark of a good prophet was to not be too precise. And then there's the Back To The Future 2 style prospect of making a bundle on various sporting events.

I chose airship pilot  because it could  lead you on to the other adventures- and imagine the view  from this vantage

I think that I, too, would choose airship pilot - it's in the blood - my dad was a pilot, and I love flying!!

I'm scared of heights but I have to admit the view was awe inspiring~
I picked the time machine so I can do all if them as well!

I think I would like to ride a kraken...even though I'm a terrible swimmer... Grin

Difficult decision.

The problem with a time machine - almost my first choice - is the unknown factors.  Travelling in time would be the start of something, not an adventure in itself.

In the end, the Zeppelin won out as more achievable, and being an end in itself.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
Ah, to board the Nautilus once again with the first great love of my life, Prince Dakkar, better known to the general public as Captain Nemo.
Definitely, the time machine!

Steampunk Texicans are exactly that crazy. Eight seconds on a bucking kraken? No problem!

Our official, real-world state sport is rodeo, so this is actually pretty easy to envision! Having done so, I fully expect that some talented someone will produce a short clip on YouTube sooner rather than later...

LOL I might not be able to produce it on You-tube but you did give me a picture in my head of a Cowboy Ken doll riding a kraken and what all I would have to do to create it. I got the Ken doll now how to make the kraken? hmmmm  Roll Eyes Grin

Why would anyone ride a kraken? You'd drown!
