Ah, yes. The lava kiwi. They're thought to be quite rare, but really, it's that they live in lava, so not a lot of folks get to see them.

If it can be found in large enough pieces pumice stone, such as is used in abrading the soles of one's feet, is somewhat inexpensive, and rather easy to work with.
