Latest Steampunk piece finished. 'D' the decommissioned Victorian Lady android.

She is built from a recycled porcelain doll's head and shoulders, she is hand painted by myself, including the tattoo, and includes parts from lamps, and brass and copper wire, conduit etc.

I hope you like her.

A hundred years from now, this will be in some antique shop.  Looking for its next home. In other words a timeless piece.

I find her beautiful and yet slightly creepy - like all 'dolls that aren't quite just dolls'.  A lovely piece of work.
(And yes, she reminded me of the Borg queen too).

She's had a hard life, but would still be the centre of attention in any room. Impressive work!

Thanks all, for the kind words.  There are some truly incredible makers, thinkers, and imaginations on this forum, and I am proud to be a part of it.
I thoroughly enjoy putting these pieces together, and the fact that they are appreciated by others gives me a great deal of pleasure, so, thank you.

I think it is the way her eyes very slightly diverge that makes her look particularly unearthly, as if she were gazing into infinity.
