These are single speaker units.  I haven't been posting lately, too much else going on.  Finally had a chance to be in the shop.

Very pleasing to see.
Thanks for sharing Ed.
I was beginning to think all the builders had packed it in.

Thanks.  Still here.
This fall I spent about 2.5 months on home projects.  Not in the shop all that time.
I was having computer trouble and only able to log in for short periods or from my phone for the last couple of months. Now have my wifes old computer so back in business and back in the shop.

Thanks.  Basically the same idea as Bose.  Bose uses a small speaker with a horn that is hidden.  I use a small speaker with a beautiful brass horn you can see.

What sort of speaker are you using?  I was thinking of making something similar as a monitor speaker for my DJ rig & using a headphone speaker.  also where are you positioning the speaker in relation to the horn & how are you ensuring the sound wave heads for the horn rather than dissipating inside the box?

The speakers I use are no longer made.  I am not sure what I am going to use once my supply of them is gone.  They are small speakers meant for iPod listening.  The speaker should be as close to the base of the horn as possible.  The volume behind the speaker has a major effect on the ultimate sound.
