Has anyone had a problem uploading pictures on their posts? I always have to insert the URL and I want to upload pictures. Any suggestions?

You can't upload images to the Brass Goggles servers. You have to put them somewhere else (Flickr, Dropbox, Imgur &c) and then link to them from here.

(Facebook is currently considered the worst possible choice for this, BTW.)

Here's the FAQ entry for more details.

I had been using Photobucket, but lately, although they will let me see part of them they won't let me access my own image URLs to paste them until I upgrade Flash.

I'm glad I'm not the only one p!$$ed at Photobucket. They're badly broken in one of my browsers, so any site that hosts images there has no images. I refer to those sites as having been "Photobucketed."

You're wanting to link some of your Etsy photos? That should work. I'll go have a look at one of your Trading posts and do some editing to show you how.

Photobucket also sticks pop-UNDER advertisements behind my main window.

They have to be up to no good.  There's no honest reason to stick hidden, often animated ads on someone's machine.

Basically I use Photobucket on a devoted browser and wipe all cookies and history the instant I'm done with it.

I use Photobucket all the time and have none of the problems mentioned.

Maybe look into grabbing Adblock Plus for the browser and CCleaner for a quick scrubbing, when required.

Just a thought  Undecided

I use deviantart Sta.sh, works well bet requires a deviantart account.
I had the pop under things too, but eventually all sites started to give lilewise adverts, even brass goggles! I did a system reset, that solved it. *shrug*

I frequently recommend imgur for this kind of image hosting. It works cleanly, they serve relatively fast, and they have a history of good behavior.
