It's the very least I could do, Good sir. I think this will end up being pretty basic with no thrills or bows, just want an Airship in the room, somewhere  Grin

Ok, ok. So my wife is learning French on the computer next to me and that was my French accent.
Horrible, absolutely horrible in so many ways. I do apologize.

For a moment I thought that was a type of Austrian dialect, the so-called Engelsprache, spoken by the Luftschiffengel (Airship Angel) mechanics.

Any backstory to the Stormsprite?

A few lugs drilled and soldered into place, then a quick paint job.

10mm stud and sleeve in place.

Main Prop bolted on for mock up.

That is a brass outboard prop with a few added bits.

I think I am going traditional with this, only gonna do it once.

Mock up of the bow, expect alot of copper pipe as usual.  Tongue

A man after my own heart.   Shocked
Glad to see I'm not the only one that uses this approach.    Wink
Let's see now, this will fit there, or should I use it here?  Huh  Undecided
What else do I have in those boxes of parts I've been saving?  Huh  Roll Eyes  Cheesy

A few fittings cast apon the floor this morning, a bit of pipe cuttage and we may actualy have a plan for the gas bag for now.

Thats the beauty of using plumbing, change yer' mind and not that difficult to re-arrange.......

Latest mock up, and willl ,no doubt change, my fear is too much copper pipe, all still changable tho'.

I do all my builds that way, no plan, cut n chop and see what looks right, hopefully this will turn out OK.

The Airship- "Plumbers Revenge"

With many builds, what you don't see in the finished piece and take more time than what you do see.  Lots of experimenting and trying and contemplating.

Really sorry about this, but this is officially on hold for a while, next year I hope.

I've decided I need a time out from making, going to concentrate on some family stuff, paint the house and maybe do a proper workshop at the end of the garden.

You ain't lucky enough to get rid of me completely, will still be here but not in making mode.

Sorry again guys and gals.

For the past two months I have been working on house projects as well.  Virtually no time in the shop.  Trying to rap up the biggest one now.  Then some small ones to finish and then back to the shop.  So I understand completely, but am disappointed.  If I'm not making I like to see what others are making and it has been rather quiet of late on BG in Tactile.

Good luck with the house and family.
