Beautifull Song And Clip:

The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

Beautiful song, disturbing clip!*

Is that the Troc as her backup singers? I love those guys; if you ever get a chance to see one of their performances, do so. Incredible artistry, and hysterical at the same time.

*Nice find, 'though; I'm going to have to share this one.

Love Annie Lennox - always have.

A bearded ballerina ... hmmm. Some Eurythmics clips were a little odd, and this one is downright weird - well done, Annie!

I just checked:  Those dancers were not members of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, but were an homage to them.

I loved The Tourists and the first Eurythmics album.

But I lost interest when 80's production took over.

This was one of her solo releases rather than the Eurithmics; indeed, a haunting song.

Here's a link to her perfomance at the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony. Lots of interesting costumes in it, which I'd like to do something similar too when I get a bit of spare time (I think I can book some in for 2019...  Roll Eyes ).

Yours,
