Yeah, never saw it Sad, but, but! I did just click on the globe link to your blog and I think it looks great!
And your bike is looking fantastic!
Someday we will see it all finished! (Just like my projects Roll Eyes)

Also, really diggin' those to 2 silhoutte shots of the graves with the sunrays. Cool

Looks great. Amazing job.

Thanks all for checking it out, really appreciate it.
Looks like you were the only people who did.
Good to see who was genuinely interested after all that.

Some of the pics do not show for me too.  However the cross standing up on your other site looks absolutely terrific.

Mr Grub, are you not well?  You have recently sounded not like your usual self.  I hope that things get better for you soon.

Nobody will 'forget' that grave again!
Beautiful work, Selected - you have an interesting blog site, too.

Be well.

In the 'completed' picture I assume that's some form of industrial ply that it's stood on, but without my glasses on it looks like a stonkingly expensive piece of marble, which suits the finished piece down to the ground and sets it off wonderfully.

Who needs glasses?  Wink

I've only seen the metal cross, not the base, but will assume excellence.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
I've not seen the base, either.
Any chance of posting up a photo of the marker in place?

I've been gone a while, but it sounds like most of you have seen pictures of the finished piece. Unfortunately, they're missing for me. Are there any alternate links where we might see the work?

Does the unknown deceased have a name yet, or is the gentleman or lady still unknown?

It is really wonderful of you to go to all that work (& surely expense) to mark the resting place of a total stranger.  Hope that you can eventually discover this person's identity & story.

Update I have documents now.
I visited this weekend but I need a ribbon tape measure.
There is alot of plots with no headstones at all if I'm reading this right.
There is a scale and map also a list of names, the info is sketchy.
They were very helpful and didn't cost a thing.

Thank you Professor.
It was Cmdr. Storm who has been keeping contact and enquiring about the mystery.
I will have to PM him.

I'm interested in the docs and maps - one of my winter projects is GIS and GPS-ing a local cemetery. There are some unknowns, too, and myself and my minion are going to be trying to track them down.

Thanks for the updates, too!

Possibly, when you're done, post up pics of the plot map?
