Well it's been a long time since I was a newbie on a forum yet here I am. Both my good Lady and myself have been aware of "Steampunk" for a while now and when said better half spotted an advert in the local paper for a Steampunk day at the Nene Valley Railway. Well we were in the car and heading up the A1 from occasionally sunny Hertfordshire. We thoroughly loved the atmosphere and just how welcoming folks were and the costumes were awe inspiring. We decided a trip to Lincoln was required to really gauge our interest. Well the trip was an overwhelming success and we're both hooked, as my eBay account can vouch for as items to work with have been ordered.

Looking forward to the fun that lays ahead.
