I went to Lincoln Castle last Saturday and saw this amazing site. I never knew what steampunk was until then.
I just want to say that you guys and gals are amazing and blew me away - seriously tempted to become one!

The number of 'uninitiated' people I saw at Lincoln Castle this weekend who left with at least a decent hat and, quite often, some goggles must've run to 50 or so.
Mostly under 10's though. The next generation.  Smiley

Welcome Jimbob.

Ah! Wrong Jimbob. Still, truly it can be said Steampunk cares little for age. 16 or 65 it doesn't matter, every gent looks kick ass ready, in a good waistcoat and a smattering of facial hair!

Next weekend (10 & 11 October) is 'A Splendid Day Out' Steampunk Market at the Platform in Morecambe - not too far from Warrington at all.  We went for the first time last May and it was ... splendid fun, though nowhere near as big as The Asylum, everyone was very friendly.
